Theodor Mundt

Theodor Mundt (1808–1861) was a writer and belonged to Young Germany.

Like Heine and Laube, he wrote about Hegel’s Berlin years. The group’s relationship to Hegel was ambivalent: his philosophy gave them the concept of history, while his theory of the state seemed to them a justification of the existing order.
