Our methodology (systematization)
Our designation for the **three fundamental, processual moments** of the **Idea of Life** (Ch. 19): 1. **S**elf-differentiation (inner organization) 2. **S**elf-preservation (assimilation of the other) 3. **S**elf-sublation (development beyond the individual) This S³ structure is the universal logical form of **self-organization** and the basis for the first, ontological derivation of the **ethical criteria** (Ch. 22). It rests on the basic quality of life, **self-relation** (Ch. 19.1). Each of the three processes is explicated in Ch. 19.4 as a complete **syllogistic system**.

Systematizes Hegel's three moments of life (the living individual, the process of life, the genus) as three processual syllogistic systems.

Corresponds in substance to the division into *The Living Individual*, *The Life-Process*, and *The Genus* (Enz. §216-222).
