Anderssein [Otherness]

Otherness is that from which a determination distinguishes itself while nonetheless remaining related to it. It is the necessary negation through which something becomes determinate (see "Anderes" [Other], Chap. 1.8). The highest form of logic is the return to itself out of otherness (Chap. 1.11, 29.1).
